This is my very first post on my very new site.

Does nutrition play a key role in fitness goals? does it matter if it is fat loss, musculature endurance and muscle building?

An interesting articular in book I am reading.

” In 2009, during an interview with MMA Weekly, George St. Peirre-arguably the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world-leaned back in his chair, sipped a bottle of water, and talked about how he was working on his nutrition to improve his fighting.
His nutrition.?
You have to realize how ridiculous that sounded at the time. Here was a guy who was already the undisputed Ultimate Fighting Championship welterweight champion with a staggering nineteen wins and only two losses. And he was going to eat more broccoli to become a better fighter. Yea, right.
“what do you think eating better will do for you?’ asked the interviewer. Georges smiled.”i have good genetics and i’ve never had to diet,” he said. “But i think eating well from now on will help me become a better fighter. i think it’ll help me gain quality muscle. It will help me recover and heal faster. It will give me more energy and explosion. That’s why i started working with John Berardi and Precision Nutrition.

Eight weeks after the interview-after following the same eating habits, Georges gained 10 pounds of lean muscle.
